Destiny Media's Play MPE Digital Media Distribution System Launches in Canada

Destiny Media Technologies (OTC Bulletin Board: DSNY), a leader in online media solutions, announced today that its Play MPE system is now available in Canada. "Play MPE is the U.S. industry standard for distributing pre-release music to radio and other trusted recipients. According to Dean Ernst, VP MPE Operations, several record labels, including two major labels, have already begun servicing releases to Canadian radio and other industry VIP's on the proprietary Destiny Media system. We expect to expand quickly as top content becomes available."

The Play MPE system delivers extremely high quality music, graphics and song data directly to authorized computers in a locked format that recognizes whether the machine has been registered with the system. If the labels allow the content to be burned to CD or exported, a proprietary patent pending forensic watermark, which survives analog duplication and compression is embedded into the song.
