Blackpool's beautiful Victorian Grand Theatre has been inundated with telephone calls and emails from ghost hunters and paranormal enthusiasts throughout the North West asking for more ghost tours since the very first on Halloween 2006. The waiting is over":
Brand new Grand Ghost Tours have now been arranged for:
Wednesday 2 May: 11pm to 1am - Ghost Tour
Friday 18 May: 11pm to 6am - Overnight Vigil
Wednesday 23 May: 10pm to 12midnight - Ghost Tour
Friday 8 June: 11.30pm to 6am - Overnight Vigil
Wander with your tour guide through the corridors of time, as you learn the tales of ghostly sightings and spine-tingling experiences that will make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck! Visit backstage where props have been known to move of their own accord. Walk over the bridge 30 foot above the stage if you dare! Sit in the darkened auditorium while the clock strikes midnight!
Grand Ghost Tours are also now generously supported by TomsGadgets who provide ghost hunting equipment for paranormal investigators. So there's even more chance of spotting something spooky!
Derek Acorah brought his Ghost Towns series to the theatre last year and during his investigation into the ghosts of the Grand, he and his co-presenters felt, heard, and experienced strange sounds, movement and sights from beyond.

Marketing Manager Stephen Mercer said, "Many people who have been on the Grand Ghost Tours have experienced sightings, heard strange noises or felt things. On a few occasions, there have even been a few screams and shrieks from our participants. It's fantastic. People have come from all areas of the North West to experience the ghost tours and many have returned again and again! It's a wonderful experience.
"Although the tour is held in a theatre, there are no theatrics involved. What people hear, feel or see is not something that has been set up by anyone who works at the Grand. I think this is something that those who attend appreciate. Many who have attended the tours have arrived at the theatre nervous or frightened; some have left that way too!"
Only 20 places are available on each of the Grand Ghost Tours which take approx 2hrs... or whenever you've had your fill of ghostly goings on! Tickets are only £10 each.
Friday May 18 and Friday 8 June are special spooky Grand Overnight Vigils with a maximum 15 people. Tickets are £25 per person for each evening. All proceeds to phase two of the Grand Theatre restoration appeal - The Sam Lee Appeal. -- www.blackpoolgrand.co.uk
