The five-year beach-volleyball deal also makes the 2008 tournament an Olympic qualifier.
Beach volleyballer Joshua Slack and his playing partner, Andrew Schacht leave tomorrow for the opening leg of the current world tour in China.
Slack said next year's tournament, at Glenelg, would put the volleyball spotlight firmly on Australia in the Olympic year.
