New Appointments by HKEx

Following the Government re-appointment of Marvin Cheung, Henry Fan and Fong Hup and Shareholders' re-election of John Strickland and Oscar Wong as Directors of HKEx on 26 April 2007, the Board at the Board meeting today (Friday) re-appointed them to various Committees and Consultative Panels, and made new appointments to the following Committees.

Board Committees-Audit Committee: Marvin Cheung is appointed the chairman and David Webb is appointed a member.

Board Committees-Investment Advisory Committee: John Strickland is appointed the chairman.

Board Committees-Nomination Committee: Henry Fan and John Strickland are appointed members.

Board Committees-Remuneration Committee: Ronald Arculli is appointed the chairman and Laura Cha is appointed a member.

Board Committees-Risk Management Committee: Marvin Cheung is appointed a member.

The term of service of each director at each Committee or Consultative Panel shall be coterminous with the individual's term of directorship with HKEx. -http://www.hkex.com.hk
