Director Vardan Hovhannisyan's "A story of people war and peace" film from Armenia was awarded a prize at at the Tribeca Film Festival of New York in the "New names" nomination.
The film shot in 2006 at "Bars Media" studio tells about the Karabakh war.
Tribeca Film Festival has been founded in 2002 by the initiative of Robert De Niro, Jane Rozenthal and Graig Hatkoff.
This year 275 films from 40 countries, including Levon Grigoryan's "Memories about Sayat-Nova" documentary film participated in the film festival. -Armradio.am
