The President of World Chess Federation (FIDE) Kirsan Ilyumzhinov has visited Yerevan, Armenia, on the occasion of the Match between World Champion Vladimir Kramnik and World Cupholder Levon Aronian.
Mr. Ilyumzhinov had meetings with the President of Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharian and the Prime Minister of Republic of Armenia, the President of Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsian.
The FIDE President also took part in the Official Opening Ceremony of Aronian - Kramnik Match. -www.fide.com
