Update Your Xbox 360 And Start Chatting With Friends

The main point of this spring's updates is communication. Users can download Windows Live Messenger and start chatting with friends directly from television. There are about 20 billion relationships and about 260 million active accounts for the users.

Xbox 360 users now can chat with up to six friends from their contact list simultaneously while listening musing, watching vide, or playing games. This summer Microsoft will also provide with keyboard attachment for all 360 controllers, to make chatting with friends easier. But before this release users can simply connect USB keyboard to the console.

"Bringing the largest IM community in the world, Windows Live Messenger, to Xbox 360 makes sense, as Xbox Live has really become the largest social network on television," said Jerry Johnson, product unit manager of Xbox Live at Microsoft. "For our growing community of six million on Xbox Live, using Xbox 360 is a very social, connected experience. They are using Xbox 360 to play games, music, and movies while simultaneously communicating with one another through video, voice, and text chat. With this announcement we are simultaneously expanding the access of Xbox Live users to existing friends and family while introducing Windows Live Messenger users to the benefits of Xbox 360."

Live Messenger is not the only news of this spring's update, there are also hundreds of features included in this update:

* Achievements list will be easily viewed in a pop-up window, players will not have to leave the game to view it.

* It is very easy to customize family profile settings.

* The game name is now displayed on the dashboard.

* Xbox Live Marketplace enable users to get content they need such as TV shows, games, movies.

* Xbox Live Arcade enables users to see what their friends are playing and connect to their game directly. It also lets users to compare their Achievements list results with friends' results.

* "Tell a Friend" feature makes it very easy to share Achievements list with friends

* Now you can download all items from Arcade collection and try them for free. The download progress is fast and it closes automatically when it is finished.

We didn't mention all the features included in Xbox Live update, but there are lots and lots of new to help you have real fun.
