Bulgaria was the first country to rehearse at Eurovision. Elitsa and Stoyan arrived at the press conference with bright smiles on their faces. They have found the organisation to be
very good.
"Everything was perfect. We had a good rehearsal. People were smiling and full of positive energy,"Â Stoyan told the press. "The stage is very beautiful, the sound is good and there are monitors everywhere. Everything is very professional."Â
Bulgaria is taking part in Eurovision for the third time. Stoyan said that the previous attempts have been good for gaining experience, and every year the Bulgarian performances are getting better and better. This time their previous ballads have made way for an uptempo song with lots of drums.
"We use percussion instruments and believe in the power of them,"Â Elitsa explained. "Drums make people feel better. After our performances some people are crying, some smiling and some dancing."Â
The inspiration for the Bulgarian entry comes from the country's rich folklore. And of course, the title is very important: "Water is a symbol of life,"Â Elitsa said. - Eurovision Press
