"Dancing with the Stars" competition contestants are couples of celebrities and professional dancers.
"Dancing with the Stars"Â 2007 is the second most popular TV show of the U.S. after "American Idol"Â. This season's show have had 20.7 million viewers a week in average.
Ohno and his partner 18 year old professional dancer Julianne Hough were in final free with their best rival couples: former boy band 'NSync member Joey Fatone with his partner Kym Johnson, who were second, and female super middleweight boxing champion Laila Ali, daughter of Muhammad Ali, with her partner Maksim Chmerkovsky, who were the third.
"I feel amazing," said Ohno. "Like I said from day one, everybody here is a champion"¦The lessons to be learned from this competition are amazing-if you put your mind to something and give it 100 percent, you give sacrifice and dedication, anything is possible."
Apolo Anton Ohno and Julianne Hough got 88 points from the "Dancing with the Stars" judges for their final dance, but they have thanks to public telephone votes.
"Being an Olympic medalist, I love this part of the competition," said. "In short-track speed skating, it's the final lap that counts, and in this dancing competition, I want to be the first one to cross the finish line."
