Monica Goodling's testimony before the House Judiciary Committee will be at 10: 15 AM today. She will be testifying connected with the U.S. attorneys' firings. Was she acting on her own or was she just a good employee?

Although Monica Goodling says that she will not give the White House stories out, the process of testifying will help to obtain very important information concerning U.S. Attorney firings and to politicize the Department's prosecutorial function.

Monica Goodling has immunity, but she may loose it, if the Justice Department decides that it slows or even makes impossible the progress of a potential criminal investigation. On Monday (which is the deadline) this question will be solved. Although the deadline may be postponed, the federal court in D.C. will take the final decision.

Now, what the Justice Department is interested about is whether Monica Goodling took part in hiring entry level prosecutors in U.S. attorneys' offices all over the USA. If it turns out to be truth then it is a violation of the Federal law of the USA, because in this case politics may have influence on the prosecutors and the latest may loose their independence. It was not Monica Goodling's position to hire career attorneys.

The whole story about Monica Goodling's case is to find out what was her role in reviewing applicants' resumes for trial. - By Alla Harutyunyan for HULIQ.com
