The new funds are based on fundamental indices from the FTSE RAFI series. Unlike conventional indices, which are based on the market value of securities, the constituents of this index series are selected on the basis of four fundamental criteria: sales revenue, cash flow, dividends and book value.
The new funds are as follows: Lyxor ETF FTSE RAFI US 1000 (ISIN: FR0010400804), Lyxor ETF FTSE RAFI Japan (ISIN: FR0010400796), Lyxor ETF FTSE RAFI Europe (ISIN: FR0010400770) and Lyxor ETF FTSE RAFI Eurozone (ISIN: FR0010400788). This allows investors to make targeted investments in shares from the respective region, based on fundamental criteria. All products are quoted in euros, distribute annual dividends and charge a management fee of 0.75% per year.
At the end of April 2007, fund assets under management in the XTF segment reached a new record high of €53.5 billion. The product offering currently covers 207 index funds. This selection together with an average monthly trading volume of over €8 billion makes Deutsche Börse's XTF segment Europe's leading trading venue for ETFs. -http://deutsche-boerse.com
