Early Lung Cancer Detection "Exported" to UK

Perceptronix Brings Early Lung Cancer Detection to UK By Signing Service Agreement With University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust

Perceptronix Medical Inc. ("Perceptronix") announced it has signed a service agreement for its LungSignTM test (formerly ClearSignTM) with University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust in the UK.

Starting June 1st, 2007, the Trust will receive and disperse LungSignTM collection kits to local family practitioners. Samples will be processed at the Perceptronix Laboratory in Vancouver, Canada.

Dr. David Snead, Head of Histopathology, UHCW and Dr. Paul Dhillon, Head of Respiratory Medicine, UHCW were the principal investigators for two LungSignTM clinical trials. Dr. Snead says, "This test will substantially improve current practice in sputum cytology and we expect increase in early diagnosis of lung cancer which will enable detection at a stage for which effective therapies already exist."

Dr. Bojana Turic, CEO of Perceptronix, commented, "We are delighted by the endorsement from our investigators. Drs Snead and Dhillon recognize that LungSignTM can aid in the early diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer in their patients." Dr. Turic continues, "This agreement represents an important and exciting step for Perceptronix' commercialization efforts." -http://www.perceptronix.com/
