AMCOM, also known as TEAMAMCOM now operates as a wholly owned subsidiary of Xerox Corporation (NYSE: XRX) and has added Xerox document technology and services to its offerings for customers in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. This follows Xerox's $1.5 billion acquisition this month of Global Imaging Systems, Inc., AMCOM's parent company.
AMCOM retains its name and locally focused, independent approach to sales, service and customer support. In addition to current offerings, AMCOM is ramping up to provide a broad range of Xerox systems and supplies. These offerings include Xerox's launch this year of 16 competitively priced products designed for offices of any size, such as new WorkCentre(R)
multifunction devices that print, copy, fax and scan, as well as Phaser(R) solid ink color printers and multifunction devices.

AMCOM became part of Global in 1996. Serving Western Pennsylvania and portions of West Virginia and Ohio, the company offers document production/management solutions and office technology to businesses of all sizes.
