He is making good progress, but his adventure so far has not been without challenge. He has battled 20-35 mph headwinds for days; got blown clear off the river by a 35 mph NW wind; got rained on for an entire day; had to hide from lightning; and has been under constant attack from mosquitoes and various other insects, including spiders and biting flies.
