Eurocom released "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" video game based on Disney's beloved "Pirates of the Caribbean" trilogy.
The new video game lasts eight hours and has eleven levels to pass. "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" is a mix of sword play, scavenger hunt and easy platforming antics.
The battles in the game are easy to win, so the game will be more interesting for teenagers, rather than for adults. But the game's graphics are better than we could imagine.
All objects and heroes of "Pirates of the Caribbean" are perfectly developed and are as realistic as in the movie. The deck of the Black Pearl, the villains, and Captain Jack Sparrow - all are just like in the movie. Johnny Depp has not given his voice to the game personage, but the one in the game is also sounds great.
Every scene is full of enemies, such as Davy Jones' pirates or Lord Cutler Beckett's guards, and the player need to battle with them. But the battle seems to be very easy, because every enemy is waiting for his turn to attack. So the player is fighting the enemies one by one. Final missions enable special moves for the player, which are a little bloody for young gamers.
The most difficult battles are when the player has to control more than one hero. At this time the gamer must switch from one hero to another and be very careful not to loose any of them. If the player looses a hero, the scene restarts. These complicated scenes look like a chaos, and the skilled movie pirates look very poor in the game. Players need to train a lot to win these battles.
Sword duel is one more kind of battles. Heroes engage enemies in duel and show how skilled they are in sword technique.
Each level has eight objects the player can collect. Seven of the objects are themed for the current level. If the player collects all object of all levels, he we will uncover the secret of Davy Jones - why he is not a mortal man anymore. These object are not difficult to find, but they make the gamer pass the level one more time to collect every single object.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" game is available for all video game consoles such as Xbox 360, Nintendo DS, PlayStation for $60. It is Teen rated and is mainly oriented on young audience. The game is not very difficult to play, but it is perfect in graphics. By Ruzan Harutyunyan for HULIQ
