Nigeria: OUTRAGIUZ is Set To Rock the Hip-hop Ragga World

OUTRAGIUZ is one of the latest acts making waves in the global music scene. He is based in Atlanta, U.S.

According to the African Manager, Hope Opara, "OUTRAGIUZ-The new sensation of the reggae-hip hop nation OUTRAGIUZ is a Nigerian-born artist based in the United States, whose musical career began at a very young age."

Mr. Opara gave more details on the background of OUTRAGIUZ.

While in Gambia, OUTRAGIUZ was the lead vocalist for "Blessed Gospel Band" and toured West Africa. Also an actor, OUTRAGIUZ co-wrote and starred in the first African independent movie in Gambia entitled Colors of Love. Soon after, OUTRAGIUZ began performing overseas, and while in Denmark, recorded a voice over for a movie called The Midnight Sun. The demand for the OUTRAGIUZ sound, a unique blend of reggae and rap, was so great that OUTRAGIUZ found himself performing in clubs throughout the continent of Europe. In 2002, OUTRAGIUZ moved to the United States and began working with Bobby Jackson, who had worked with L.A. Reid and Baby face of LaFace Records-the team that produced superstars like Bobby Brown, TLC, Toni Braxton, Usher and Barry White. Also a songwriter, OUTRAGIUZ has co-wrote songs for artists like Bre Morgan of Global Recording based in Florida, Chip Days of American Idol television show, and South Status, a hip-hop group from Denmark. When asked about his influences, OUTRAGIUZ mentions the likes of Bob Marley, Shabba Ranks, Marvin Gaye, Tupac Shakur and Shaggy, all of whom helped him come up with a new sound-a fusion of reggae and hip hip-OUTRAGIUZ calls "New Vogue Reggae".Which is a style of music that Outragiuz created himself. In 2006, OUTRAGIUZ debuted on the American television show Total Exposure and performed in concert before thousands of American viewers. Currently, OUTRAGIUZ is promoting a new CD and captivating listening audiences worldwide.

OUTRAGIUZ is making waves on the Channel O Music channel in Africa and coming to perform at live concert shows in Nigeria and South Africa.
