Changes in the equity indices effective on 18 June
Effective 18 June, new index weights will apply for companies in the equity indices of Deutsche Börse. Deutsche Börse released the preliminary weighting figures on Wednesday. An update of the prelimary weighting will be published on Friday. The preliminary data can be downloaded from the Deutsche Börse website (www.deutsche-boerse.com). The final figures based on Friday's Xetra closing prices will be published on the Deutsche Börse website on Saturday.
On Tuesday 5 June, Deutsche Börse has decided on changes in its equity indices DAX®, MDAX® and SDAX® that will take effect on 18 June. Merck will be included in DAX and will replace Altana. The company does no longer meet the criteria to remain in the index in terms of market capitalization and leaves the index on the basis of the so-called fast-exit rule. Altana will move to MDAX replacing Merck. In SDAX Axel Springer will be included replacing the share of Thiel Logistik. The share of Alstria will also be included in SDAX replacing the share of Cewe Color.
