Paris Hilton's Parents Pay Jail Visit

Her family was planning a great party for her 'get out of jail'. Paris's father, Rick Hilton, was already reserving Las Vegas clubs and hotel rooms for a huge party. But the situation changed, when she was ordered back to jail after spending a day under home arrest.

As soon as Paris was taken back to jail, her parents paid a visit. Most of the visitors had to wait for four hours to visit their jailed relatives because of Hiltons' visit.

The parents entered the visitors' room immediately and raised criticism among press and public. This visit was considered as one more case that shows special treatment for Paris Hilton.

The first wave of criticism raised when Sheriff Baca released her home after serving only three days of sentence for an unclear medical condition. Public and press want legal bodies to treat equally to everyone who breaks the law.

Sheriff department representative said that it costs $1,109.78 a day to house a female inmate compared to $99.64 a day in the general population.

According to Los Angeles Times analysis Paris Hilton is not the only jail celebrity for drunk driving. There have been more celebrities jailed and early released, but press and public didn't criticize their release.
