Why not give the gift of a Christmas Tree or Homemade Wreath? A local church in North Carolina is giving an opportunity for the community to look at the gift giving from another angle. St Aloysius Catholic Church of Hickory, NC is selling freshly cut Fraser Fir trees from the Western North Carolina Mountains to support church causes.

Everyone is welcome to shop the tree lot starting the weekend after Thanksgiving on Saturday, November 28, 2009 from 8 am to 7 pm. This sale continues on Saturdays and Sundays through December 19th, 2009. St Aloysius is conveniently located at the corner of Hwy 127 and 9th Ave NE. Volunteers will be available during the sale to get the Christmas trees onto your vehicles.

The funds raised will go directly towards the 2010 Youth Conference in Atlanta, GA. Note that these Fraser Fir trees are competitively priced and among the freshest in the area.
