City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo, who is known from Paris Hilton's case as opponent of special treatment, is now specially treating his wife for a similar case for driving with a suspended driver license, without driving insurance in an unregistered car.

The case happened in 1998 when Rocky Delgadillo and Michelle Delgadillo still were not married, and Michelle Delgadillo was charged under her maiden name.

Michelle Delgadillo was sentenced for one year probation and she should pay $500. Besides there was a nine year arrest warrant which was valid through Wednesday and was completely dismissed.

"My wife is embarrassed about this, and I am embarrassed as well," Michelle Delgadillo said.

This case is being actively discussed because Rocky Delgadillo is known form Paris Hilton's case, when he ordered go back to jail after Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca released her to stay under home arrest. He also blamed Sheriff for special treatment to celebrity.

"If law enforcement officials are to enjoy the respect of those we are charged with protecting, we cannot tolerate a two-tiered jail system where the rich and powerful receive special treatment," Delgadillo said at the time.

The couple is also late in paying parking tickets. The tickets for $70 now have become $174 including penalties. Beside, Rocky Delgadillo apologized for keeping in secret the case in 2004, when his wife crashed his car while driving with a suspended driver license.

"I will do whatever the court instructs me to do. I apologize for any embarrassment this has caused my husband and family," she said in a statement to the newspaper. "It is completely my mistake."

Rocky Delgadillo also claims he was unaware about Michelle Delgadillo's arrest warrant. For HULIQ.com
