The Spice Girls are fuelling rumours of a reunion with their management company saying they will make an announcement on their future next week.
"Following weeks of speculation, the Spice Girls are set to make an official announcement to the world regarding future plans on June 28," a statement from 19 Entertainment in London said.
"No further information can be given at this time but given the band's unique history, you can be sure to expect the unexpected! Details regarding the announcement will be released in the coming days."
Formed in 1994, the five-member Spice Girls enjoyed worldwide fame on the back of catchy pop tunes like "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life" and aggressive girl power marketing.
But after two chart-topping albums, a string of best-selling singles and a foray into film, they split up in 2001, three years after Geri "Ginger Spice" Halliwell announced she was quitting to pursue a solo career.
