This service doesn’t bother the customer, you don’t need to have any other phone number or to change your position while talking for better accessibility. Your phone will automatically change the network for you.
You can accept a call at home and go on talking while going out from home, you will not have to interrupt your phone conversation, T-Mobile will do it for you. While talking at home you will use Wi-Fi network, while going out you’ll switch to mobile network.
This service is already being largely used in Europe, but in US T-Mobile is the first major provider to offer the service. New Wi-Fi network is a huge step to beat the market rivals AT&T and Verizon Wireless.
Talking about the costs, subscribers will pay $US19.99 for a single line or $US29.99 for five lines additionally with monthly bills. About 8500 commercial places, such as Starbucks coffee shops, will be equipped with T-Mobile’s Wi-Fi network.
This cost isn’t that much for those who mainly use mobile phone, but it already becomes useless to keep the landline, because it add extra cost. So to keep the landline and pay for Wi-Fi network is expensive, but to drop the landline and switch to cell phone completely is a good choice.
