Waiting In iPhone Lines at AT&T Stores

The rumors is that the iPhone waiting lines aren't so bad there at AT&T stores? If you recall, this was Steve Jobs' recommendation on how to get an iPhone the day of the release which is today, according to Gadgetreview.com.

Blogs are reporting that the iPhone lines got even larger as the noonday sun cut through the hase of morning accross America.

Gizmodo says even the Phillie mayor "getting in on the line-waiting action."

Cnet reports no iPhone line at AT&T Time Square, which all seemed quiet.

"While half a dozen people smolder in the near 90 degree heat waiting in front of Apple's store on Fifth Avenue for the much anticipated iPhone, no one is camping out yet at the AT&T store in Times Square."

A store sales man said that they had NYPD steel barricades to control the line, to make sure the line was orderly, in case it was formed.

However, there was not much line and the AT&T stores are closing at 4:30 PM on Friday.
