As more and more information unfolds in this strange case, William Balfour's MySpace page actually listed Julia (Jennifer Hudson's sister) as his wife and Julian as possibly his stepson. When the police apprehended William Balfour last night, the 7 year old child was not with him.
On William Balfour's Myspace page he wrote: "I might as well let you all know that Jennifer Hudson is my wife's sister I'm proud of her and wish her nothing but the best in what she do."
However, a woman identifying herself as the mother of the suspect says her son did not kill Jason Hudson and Darnell Donerson.
Police believe it is "domestic" whatever that means. A cousin discovered the bodies about 2:44pm today. Police spokeswoman Monique Bond says the deaths appear to be the result of domestic abuse but declined to elaborate.

I don't understand how someone can kill them like that..so sad. Jennifer will have such a testimony when God heals her heartache from this tragedy. No one deserves to be slain the way her mother & brother were. I pray her nephew is still alive...odds are against most missing persons still being alive after 48hrs...sad but a fact in law enforcement because I'm in that line of work.
we need to come together and pray for his safe return.

When you have (N-Word) who carry on in this manner, what do you expect. Ms. Hudson's case, though tragic, is not the first. Political correctness does not apply here. All real men need to stop allowing this "THUGS WAYS FOR LIFE" mentality to continue. These people who act like WANNA BE GANGSTAS are stupid, foolish creatures, who choose not to take care of their responsibilities and opt to rob, steal, and kill. These "Bastards of Society" are not respectable and only do for themselves, not their children, significant other, or society. They belong to families who are soo ignorant, they say crap like,"William was in jail, but he's a good guy" or "Yeah that's my son in thge video with the gun, but he's not guilty". HEY FOOL.......Most good guys DON'T BREAK THE LAW. When you say William's not guilty, what you need to say is, "William's not FEELING guilty". Parents....STOP treating your children like you want to be their best friend. As parents, you should ACT LIKE PARENTS. Set the rules and don't tolerate any crap. Parents should be "RESPECTED and FEARED". Fathers.....TAKE RESPONSIBILITY AND provide the way GOD intended you to. MEN.....Do what my neighborhood in Brooklyn did when we were growing in the 60's and 70's. I cut up in the street, our neighbor beat My Ass..took me home..then My MOM Beat My Ass. Then I caught hell from my Dad and the rest of the family. There are more of us in this country than there are these ignorant (N-Word). STOP LAYIN' DOWN and START STANDIN' UP. THESE THUGS DON'T HAVE TO LIKE IT, BUT THEY DAMN WELL BETTER RESPECT IT.
david t roberts sums up the whole situation, with TRUTH! but let me just add that women need to get off this stupidity of being fascinated by so called thugs! a man without honor is not a man! dealing with punks only results in needless drama, bad credit, police issues, and in this case murdered love ones. just cuase a idioit has a penis, it does not mean he is a man! a real man is a protector of life, not a murderer. also black folk, while we are crying and praying for the hudson family, who most definatly derserve our prayers, let us not forget that there needs to be an outrage, and righteous anger against the scum that would do this! if the perpetrator was white, there would be protest marches, boycotts, and the whole nine! so let us just not pray for healing, BUT LET US ALSO DEMAND JUSTICE!

The reality of William Balfours abusive/violent behavior was proceeded by warning signs. I question Julia Hudson's ability to recognize how this all could have been prevented. She knew her estranged husband better and more intimately than her own family members. Due to Balfour's former prison record, somewhere in the recesses of Julia's mind, she should have known that this man was "institutioanlized." I am inplying that Balfour was already mentally/emotionally/psychologically/and spiritually off! That in itself should have caused for not only Julia to open up her mouth, file restraining orders, and alert the local police department of Balfours possible threat to her and her family. There had to have been warning signs that proceeded this man's brutal killings of the Donerson/Hudson's family!!! Another decision that I don't believe was very wise, was Ms. Donerson's decision to remain living on the southside of Chicago. I know that a lot of black folks don't want to come across as being bugee or "high society" by relocating just because one of their children becomes successful and comes into money. But the flip side of that is that when someone close to you, such as your child becomes famous, the chances of you becoming a target are even greater. So, if one doesn't relocate for any other reason, it should be for their own safety. Imagine what a difference would have been made in the outcome of this event had Ms. Donerson been living in a secured high-rise building, with a security system set up, with a panic button somewhere in the home? Along with survelliance cameras all throughout the home or at very least at the front door? This is a tragedy that did not have to happen!!!!! I am very sad and I am praying for the Hudson family!
Okay! I went to Williams myspace page too. I read the quote.Yet I don't understand how that is a clue! It sounds like he was putting it out there that Jennifer was of kin to him, but that's not evidence!Nor is that a clue! i too hope that justice is served if he did it or had anything to do with it. But, that quote alone isn't enough to go off of!
Something is just not right about her. She logs on the DAY her little boy is found dead and writes this so casually...
