Robin Lively Teen Witch Father Survives Car Crash

Doctors say Ernie Lively suffered back and lung injuries when his car tumbled down an embankment. For a moment, the family thought his condition was touch and go, and wondered whether he would survive. The “Teen Witch” stars’ father is expected to make a full recovery.

According to the police officers who were at the scene, Ernie Lively was on his way to the set of “Criminal Minds” when the accident occurred. To avoid a crash, he swerved his vehicle away from an oncoming car, which caused him to go over the guard rail and down the embankment.

"It was a horrific accident. He was on his way to the set of 'Criminal Minds,' and he swerved to miss a car, and his car tumbled down an embankment. Blake is here, the whole family is here, and yesterday it didn't look good. But thankfully, now we have been told he is going to make a full recovery. It's all been taken care of," Elaine Lively told Usmagazine.com.

The Lively family is a true Hollywood clan of actors. Blake and Robin Lively are Ernie Lively’s children and are famous actors on their own. Also included in the Lively family is stepson Jason Lively who is also an actor. Ernie Lively changed his name from Ernie Brown when he married actress Elaine Lively.
