Instead of sticking to the plan, Palin instead has gone rogue because she feels these same aides and handlers are responsible for her tarnished image. Those close to the McCain campaign want to blame Palin for his decline in the polls, while Palin feels it is the McCain handlers who are responsible for the plummeting percentages.
However some McCain aides believe Palin was not ready for this level of public attention, while others are crediting her for objecting to McCain’s pullout of Michigan and suggesting the Jeremiah Wright tactic. It appears the Republican campaign is pointing fingers at one another while they watch Barack Obama’s well oiled machine race by.
Recent repots from Palin allies state she has gone from being a team player to going it on her own. Rejecting advisement from the Bush reelection team as well as McCain advisers. With the election a little more than a week away, the Republican nominee can little afford a rogue governor who ignores GOP advice.
