Harry Potter Parties Around The World

This summer will bring lots of fun for Harry Potter’s fans. On July 11 latest movie “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” will be released and on July 21 the book “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” will be available in book stores.

“Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” is based on J. K. Rowling’s seventh and the last Potter book. The movie will uncover Harry’s destiny at last.

The series about Harry Potter attracts lots and lots of kids aged from 5 to 17. Most of them were not book lovers, but they enjoyed reading these series. There are also lost of adults who enjoy Harry’s adventures. The stories have a lot of Latin, Greek, French, cultural references and other smart things that attract adults.

The release of book and movie bring lots of Harry Potter themed events, festivals and fun. Fans call if Harry conference all around the world.

Philadelphia will offer a festival named Enlightening 2007. The festival will start on July 12 and will offer movie screening, wand designing, spell casting, magic-potion making.

Mugglefest, Portland, will offer Harry activities on the weekend after book’s release. Activities will include a train trip through Portland waterfront, old locomotive factory buildings and Diagon Alley. Fans will arrive to a masquerade with reptile and owl shows and magicians.

Naperville, Chicago, will decorate more than 60 restaurants in Harry theme. They will offer music, costumes, movie screenings and about 300 reserved books. Activities will take place during July 21 weekend.

Toronto will also organize a Harry Potter event especially for adults named Prophecy 2007. About 1500 participants are invited to the event. Most of them are academics. Activities will include panel discussions, lectures. HULIQ
