Goldman Sachs Threats, Who and Why?

The news out today is that someone has been sending threatening letters to newspapers about impending mass murders at Goldman Sachs. Are the Goldman Sachs threats credible?

According to the FBI the letters stated: "Goldman Sachs. Hundreds will die. We are inside. You cannot stop us."

The letters were sent to nine newspapers and were signed A.Q.U.S.A. The FBI is treating this threat seriously but Goldman Sachs officials say they aren't worried. The State of The Division reports following on the Goldman Sachs Threats and relation to terrorism.

If there's one thing the American government won't put up with is foreigners tampering with iconic U.S. institutions. Al Qaeda's recent letter threats to attack investment banker Goldman Sachs will incur the wrath of infuential leaders serving in both the public and private sector. Letters mailed to seven newspapers around the country stated:

"Goldman Sachs. Hundreds will die. We are inside. You cannot stop us."

This follows the British doctor terror cell in Britain. Have highly intelligence financial experts invaded Goldman Sachs in similar fashion? The bank thinks not as they term the threat "not credible". However the FBI is investigating as the letters were signed "A.Q.U.S.A."

Over three years ago President Bush said the war in Iraq would reduce the terror threat, yet recent events suggest otherwise. The news reported Al Qaeda's #2 released a tape days ago. I recall the report saying to "our brothers in America" there will soon be "good news", but looking over older articles I cannot find confirmation. As I read it I found the words disturbing. While the news piece tried to make it sound like another tape from bin Laden qualified as the good news, my gut said an attack or attempted attack to be more likely.
