Iran is to construct three wind-based power plants in Armenia.

The initial agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia was signed on March and both sides are still negotiating on how to expand cooperation in other fields.

The first wind-based power plant constructed in Armenia by Iran is located at Vanadzor, a city located 150 kilometers from Yerevan.

This wind power plant has four V-47 turbines with 47 meter rotors and 660 kilo watts power.

This is a great idea. The world economy needs to more and more rely on renewable energy. Wind power is a clean energy and this is great for the world economy. There was a report that Armenia is a leader in using natural gas for powering the car fuel. The article clearly explains how Armenia Leads The Way In Using Clean Car Fuel thus becoming a regional and leader and a major player in the world in the usage of renewable energy.
