Brother Introduces New Electronic Eyelet Button Holer, RH-9820

Brother Industries, Ltd. (President Seiichi Hirata) is introducing a new electronic eyelet button holer offering the world's highest max. sewing speed of 2,500 rpm (revolutions per minute) that saves energy by 35%. This new electronic eyelet button holer, RH-9820, enables users to increase productivity while lowering energy costs.

The electronic eyelet button holer is a sewing machine mainly used to sew around the edges of a buttonhole. In 1994, Brother Industries, Ltd. developed the world's first electronic eyelet button holer. Currently, the company ranks number one for global market share in the electronic eyelet button holer market(1). Brother Industries, Ltd. hopes that their market share will expand further with the introduction of RH-9820, which allows users to significantly improve both productivity as well as economic efficiency

The World's Highest Sewing Speed Equals Increased Productivity

RH-9820 boasts the world's highest sewing speed of 2,500 rpm, which is much faster than the maximum sewing speed of the previous model(2), (2,200 rpm). The higher speed was made possible by RH-9820's optimal machine structure, which allows users to maintain high sewing quality while operating it at high speed. The RH-9820 also offers increased productivity since the machine time(3) is reduced by 13% as compared to the previous model.

RH-9820 Saves 35% in Energy than Previous Model

By installing an energy-saving compact motor , Brother Industries, Ltd. was able to reduce the energy consumption of the RH-9820 by 35% as compared to the previous model.
