Clearwell Systems: Top E-Discovery Software Provider

Clearwell Intelligence Platform Demonstrates Leadership Across Numerous Categories In Prestigious Socha-Gelbmann 2007 Electronic Discovery Survey

Clearwell Systems, Inc., a pioneer in Intelligent E-Discovery, announced on July 10 it has been ranked by corporate end users as a top 'E-Discovery Software Provider' in the Socha-Gelbmann 2007 E-Discovery Survey. The annual survey, which assesses e-discovery trends and vendors, ranked Clearwell in the top tier across several categories. This level of recognition is bestowed upon an elite group of vendors who demonstrate superior technology and industry innovation, deliver significant and immediate value to customers, and are experiencing strong customer momentum.

"This year's survey was highly competitive, with hundreds of vendors vying for high rankings in the Best Software Provider categories where Clearwell broke into the top 10," said George Socha and Tom Gelbmann, co-authors of the survey, and co-founders of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) Project. "Clearwell stood out among survey participants, and the company's rankings with corporations and law firms helped to elevate Clearwell as one of the top software providers."

With flagship customers such as Boeing, BP, Constellation Energy, Department of Health and Human Services / Office of Inspector General, KLA-Tencor, Transatlantic Reinsurance Company, and Nassau County, Clearwell has quickly established a strong presence and a name for itself in the e-discovery market. Clearwell's market-leading processing, review, and analysis capabilities commonly result in multi-million dollar savings for customers, driving upwards of 80 percent cost reductions in e-discovery among many end-user enterprises.

"Clearwell is committed to bringing the next generation of e-discovery solutions to market to ease the burden of e-discovery processes for customers," said Kamal Shah, vice president of product management and marketing at Clearwell Systems. "Inclusion in the Socha-Gelbmann survey, which is the most comprehensive and publicly referenced e- discovery industry survey is significant validation for any software provider. The high rankings Clearwell received from corporations are a testament to our leadership in the marketplace, and our software's proven ability to deliver immediate and significant value to our customers." -Clearwell
