

Facebook has made new updates to the Facebook API platform and one of them is opening of status updates.
As authors of Facebook official bog stated, from now you will no longer need to use session ID to access statuses. New applications will be able to access any status, notes or links from active users and their friends.
Some of experts thinks that this move is specifically made for targeting huge number of Twitter users, since most of them also have Facebook profile.
The social network has 150 million active members and more than 15 million are updating their status daily and who are sharing more than 24 million links per month.
Second interesting change in Facebook API is ability for developers to upload videos through their applications.
This massive update will surely let developers to take advantage of new features so we expect bunch of new features very fast.
