New update will roll out gradually to all Hotmail users in next couple days and as we can find at Windows Live Wire blog some of new features include:
- 5GB of storage space with option to grow if you really need it.
- Introducing new themes. Some of them change based of weather conditions on your location.
- Quick access of maps, directions and movie times into your new email messages. So far this option is active for US and UK users.
- Hotmail Today page features latest updates from people in your network.
- POP3 access will be available for US and Brazil users with announcement it will soon be available for United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Spain, Germany, Italy, and Netherlands users.
- Option to create HTML signatures.
There is also a unconfirmed information about integration of Windows Live Messenger, but so far there is no specified date when it will become active.
