Armenian singer in the top ten of the BBC contest

With the "I Like" song 17-year-old singer of Armenia Silva is participating in the BBC contest.

The author of the song is Silva's sister, Mane; the song has been recorded by her brother, Edgar.

The BBC contest is called The Next Big Thing. The jury has chosen the top 20 out of 1 100 records. The best performers are chosen through Internet voting at http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/thenextbigthing/.

The voting will be over on November 28, at 8 p.m. Yerevan time.
November 29 and 30 the BBC will announce the names of the best six singers, on December 9 the winner will be known.
