David Beckham, former England captain, was presented to be a new player for Galaxy. He appeared in a stadium with his new t-shirt and made his fans go crazy.

"This is one of the biggest challenges that I've taken on in my career. I think potentially in the States soccer could be as big as it is everywhere else around the world and I'm very proud," he said.

"For me the most important thing is my family. The second thing is the foot - the soccer. I'll get used to that at some point, I'm sorry.”

His first game is supposed to take place on July 21st in a match against Chelsea.

He arrived in Los Angeles with his wife Victoria Beckham and the sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.

Victoria Beckham, the Spice Girl, claimed she is not going to start a Hollywood career.
