Harry Potter Movie Hits Box Office

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" earned $77.4 million revenue during the first weekend of its release.

Total revenue since Potter’s opening from US and Canada screenings now is $140 million. The movie also earned about $190.3 million in 44 other countries.

"Order of the Phoenix" the fifth movie based on J.K. Rowling's books comes the second among Potter themed films. It comes after the fourth book "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire".

"Order of the Phoenix" comes the second after 2004's “Spider-Man 2''that totaled $152.4 million is five days since release in June.

Potter movie is expected to make $1 billion revenue worldwide and the profit is expected to be half billion.

The movie made its launch brilliantly. Now the book is coming to heat bookstore shelves.

On July 21 “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'' the seventh and the last among the series of books will attract Potter fans. It is interesting to know how much money the book will earn.

Currently the book’s orders are 17 percent ahead of the last book. The previous six Harry Potter books have been sold in 300 million copies worldwide. HULIQ
