Google is offering search engines to annually $100 small business sites.
The new service is called "Custom Search Business Edition" and is aimed to help websites that don’t have search engines at all or are not satisfied with their existing engines.
Small websites will be offered $100 small search engines crawling 5000 pages, larger websites will be able to by 50000 pages crawling search engines for $500.
This is a significant price decrease since the times when Google offered search engines for the first time. At that time services used to cost $1995.
Actually, Google does not need to do much for the new services, because it is already regularly crawling the whole web to make sure that every singe web page is indexed.
Google is now also offering free version of its search engine. But the sites using the engines also display Google ads. The sites that purchase the engine, will be able to block ads.
Small website owners will be able to customize search engine very easily, in ten minutes. The customization can even be done online, because a 50000 page search is not that big one.
"Custom Search Business Edition" will also be able to display search results within their own websites. Meanwhile free Google search’s users appear to leave the host website. HULIQ
