Tammy Faye Messner Dies At 65

Tammy Faye Messner died on Friday at her home near Kansas City, just two days after interview with Larry King.

CNN's Larry King Live had taped interview with her on Wednesday and aired it on Thursday. Messner was unrecognizable. She looked exhausted, but her make-up was still the same and she was still full of life.

Tammy Faye Messner came to Larry King’s show complaining of terrible pains and diet. She weighted 65-pound and she was waiting the day to eat a huge amount of hamburgers and fries with lots of ketchup.

"I'm doing pretty good considering the circumstances, Larry," Messner offered. "All I eat is chicken soup and rice pudding, but I'm looking forward to the day when I can bite into that hamburger and fries."

In 1996 she was colon cancer diagnosed that was later spread to her lungs. Messner announced about cancer at Larry King Live in 2004. She was very proud of her life and she helped all cancer diagnosed people with her encouraging speeches. She always promoted never to be afraid of any illness, but live proudly and happily.

Tammy firstly appeared at PTL Club running by her first husband Jim Bakker. The show initial was "Praise the Lord" or "People That Love." But later the show was closed and Bakker was imprisoned because of the incident with former church secretary Jessica Hahn.

Tammy and Jim had two children Jamie Charles and Tammy Sue. But in 1992 their marriage was ended, they were divorced.

"My heart aches for my two children, Jamie Charles and Tammy Sue, who loved their mother dearly," Jim Bakker said. "They both told me their mom was so full of life it is hard to believe she is gone."

Jim Bakker said about his ex-wife "She lived her life like the song she sang, ’If Life Hands You a Lemon, Make Lemonade.’ She is now in Heaven with her mother and grandmother and Jesus Christ, the one who she loves and has served from childbirth. That is the comfort I can give to all who loved her."

In 1993 Messner married church developer Roe Messner. It was her second marriage, but it also ended up with her husband’s sentence. He was imprisoned because of bankruptcy fraud and spent about two years in jail.

In 2003 Tammy appeared in a reality show ‘The Surreal Life’ with the porn star Ron Jeremy. She didn’t know who Jeremy was, but they became good friends.

"God rest her soul, and goodbye to a dear friend!" Jeremy wrote on his MySpace blog. "A sad day....She will be missed!"

At Larry King Live Tammy Faye Messner said: “I want to be cremated. I don't want bugs to eat me. I believe when I leave this earth, because I love the Lord I am going straight to Heaven." HULIQ
