Her first arrest was made because of a car crash in Beverly Hills on May 26. She was drunk while driving Police also announced they have found a small amount of cocaine in Lohan’s Mercedes-Benz sports car.
After the incident Lindsay was taken to rehab for 45 days. She was voluntarily wearing an alcohol-monitoring bracelet after rehab release.
But it seems that her stay in rehab didn’t change anything, and here she is in trouble again. Police got a call from Lohan's personal assistant’s mother, who said that Lindsey was trying to catch her on her sports car.
"Lohan was trying to catch the mother of her personal assistant. Why she was trying to catch her, we don't know," said Police Lt Alex Padilla. "The mother was afraid. ... She called the police because she wanted to make sure everything would be okay."
When police arrived, they found Lindsey still wearing her alcohol-monitoring bracelet. Alcohol level in blood was 0.12 per cent, which is above California limit of 0.08. She also had a small amount of cocaine in her pocket. She was arrested for drunk driving, driving on a suspended license and cocaine.
Lindsey had two friends in her car, who were also taken to police, questioned and released. Lohan was released for a $25000 bond. On August 24 court will discuss both cases of Lohan’s driving under influence.
Her attorney, Blair Berk commented on this matter: "Unfortunately, late yesterday, I was informed that Lindsay had relapsed. The bracelet has now been removed. She is safe, out of custody and presently receiving medical care."
Lindsay’s behavior affects her actress career. Because of her stay in rehab NBC's ‘The Tonight Show’ with Jay Leno was canceled, where she was going to promote her new movie. Because of the car crash in May her next movie ‘Poor Things’ was delayed. ‘Poor Things’ is produced by Shirley MacLaine, who is going to announce details of the movie. Yet it is unknown if Lohan will remain in the cast.
Lindsay Lohan is only 21-years old and she is already in deep troubles. Two arrests in a year for drunk driving and two rehabilitations are too much. Her friends think she needs help and support of her parents to recover. HULIQ
