Sheffield Theatres' Spring 2007 season

Featuring a host of stunning productions, from smash-hit West End musicals to the very best in contemporary dance and drama, Sheffield Theatres are pleased to announce its full season of touring shows for spring 2007 is now on sale.

Sheffield Theatres' Spring 2007 season

Spring began early in the Lyceum with several shows available to book for the past few months: the perfect antidote to the post-Christmas blues, the much-loved St Petersburg Ballet Theatre return to Sheffield with two of Tchaikovsky's most famous ballets, SWAN LAKE and THE NUTCRACKER, as well as a stunning new production of GISELLE. Hot on its heels comes Willy Russell's BLOOD BROTHERS, the first in the season's trio of West End spectaculars completed by Victoria Wood's triumphantly funny ACORN ANTIQUES and Michael Grandage's multi-award-winning GUYS AND DOLLS. Also on sale now, blockbuster musical CHICAGO will make its way to Sheffield Theatres in July.

Following the success of Blush in 2004, February marks the return of Ultima Vez with their fantastic retrospective, SPIEGEL. The same month sees more acclaimed choreography on the Lyceum stage from the brilliant Protein Dance, with their funny and fast moving BIG SALE, whilst March brings with it the return of the extraordinary Northern Ballet Theatre and their thrilling new production, THE THREE MUSKETEERS.

Fantastic family entertainment comes courtesy of The Young Vic and their spellbinding musical co-production with The Opera Group, THE ENCHANTED PIG. Internationally-acclaimed Teatro Kismet present their inventive and spine-tingling retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's THE SNOW QUEEN in March and the season draws to a close in May as we MAKE WAY FOR NODDY AND FRIENDS.
