Chief Justice Roberts Hospitalized After Benign Idiopathic Seizure

Chief Justice of US Supreme Court Hospitalized After Seizure, Fall - Doctors Diagnose Benign Idiopathic Seizure.

The U.S. Supreme Court says Chief Justice John Roberts has been hospitalized after suffering a seizure and falling at his vacation home in the northeastern state of Maine.

A Supreme Court spokeswoman says the seizure and fall Monday resulted in minor injuries. She says Roberts was taken to a hospital as a precaution and is to remain there overnight.

The spokeswoman says Roberts was conscious after the fall. There was no official word about what caused the seizure.

Roberts has a seasonal home near Port Clyde, Maine.

Roberts, who is 52 years old, became chief justice in September 2005. He succeeded William Rehnquist, who had passed away earlier that month.

I am wondering if Benign Idiopathic Seizure is fatal? Chief Justice seems to be a nice and humble man. Hope he recovers soon.
