Refunds for Consumers Who Purchased Xenadrine EFX

From August 6 until September 15, 2007, the Federal Trade Commission will be accepting refund requests from consumers who bought Xenadrine EFX.

The FTC alleged that Xenadrine EFX was advertised with false and unsubstantiated weight-loss claims, and the FTC’s settlement with the marketers of Xenadrine EFX included money for consumer refunds. The amount of the refund will depend on the number of consumers who request refunds.

Consumers who bought Xenadrine EFX between February 1, 2002, and May 22, 2006, and were not satisfied with their purchase can request a refund either by downloading a claim form at www.XenadrineEFXsettlement.com or by calling 1-800-560-6435 to receive a claim form by mail.

Consumers must complete and sign the claim form and mail it back to the Claims Administration Center at the address shown on the claim form. The Claims Administration Center must receive all claim forms no later than September 15, 2007.

In addition to this notice, the FTC will run public notices in a variety of newspapers during the month of August. -US Federal Trade Commission
