UniversalSystems, a leading provider of software and call center services, announced that its Accelerator/ASP application for outbound customer calls is compliant with key contact center solutions from Avaya , a leading global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.
The UniversalSystems Accelerator helps businesses use their databases more effectively so they can deliver more of the "right" customers to higher skilled agents. The application now is compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Proactive Contact 3.0, a suite of hardware and software for the efficient and effective proactive management of customer relationships. An integrated part of the Avaya Customer Interaction Suite, Avaya Proactive Contact includes a predictive dialer, analysis and management tools to help businesses reach customers more quickly and profitably.
"UniversalSystems is excited about the results of the recent compliance testing and the ease of integrating with Avaya's open, standards-based platform," said Black Rice, CEO of Universal Recovery Systems, parent company of UniversalSystems. "Current and future customers will certainly benefit from the fact that our new technology incorporates seamlessly with the Avaya Proactive Contact solution, helping them achieve dramatic savings in their communications infrastructure and make better use of their people resources."
One of the companies benefiting from the interoperability of UniversalSystems and Avaya solutions is Bureau of Collection Recovery (BCR) a privately owned business that specializes in first- and third-party collections for major creditor grantors across the country. BCR selected a managed services solution from UniversalSystems that integrates the company's Accelerator/ASP application with Avaya’s Proactive Contact suite and predictive dialer.
"I could not imagine running an agency without UniversalSystems," said Mark Neill, chief operating officer of BCR. "The ease of handling additional business without the need to hire and train a lot of people is priceless. In addition, we benefit from a state of the art Avaya dialer with no capital outlay."
UniversalSystems is a member of the Avaya DeveloperConnection Program - an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network.
As a Gold member of the program, UniversalSystems is eligible to submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. There a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compliant. Doing so ensures businesses can confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure - speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
"By offering compliance testing to the many innovative companies like UniversalSystems who are members of our DeveloperConnection program, Avaya promotes fully interoperable solutions that help businesses unleash powerful new possibilities," said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya. "They are able to use Intelligent Communications to connect employees and customers to information from wherever they are, over whatever device they have available – getting more out of their multivendor network and delivering new value to their bottom line."-Avaya
