Put on your Wizard's robes and hat, and hop on your broomstick for a magical ride into the world of fantastic creatures with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra on September 8.
Let the Wizard, played by Alasdair Malloy, take your children where Harry Potter and his friends live, with music for notable Gnomes, troublesome Trolls, daring Dragons, enterprising Elves, Impudent Imps, a beastly Basilisk. Music performed include extracts from the film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone and Johann Strauss’ Perpetuum Mobile. --
Alasdair Malloy has introduced music to audiences all over the world, specialising in devising special programmes for children and families. Be they about bugs, carnivals, fantastic creatures, mathematics or sports, these programmes have made him extremely popular with young and new audiences. Malloy is also principal percussionist of the BBC Concert Orchestra.
