RenewData, a leading provider of electronic evidence and data migrations services for corporations and law firms, and Index Engines, the leader in enterprise discovery solutions, today announced that RenewData has added the Index Engines Offline Tape Discovery technology to its suite of Data Migration Services.
Offline Tape Discovery enables direct searching of documents stored on tape. When combined with RenewData’s legal expertise and processes, corporations can reduce the time and expense of analyzing their inventory of backup tapes to determine which tapes must be kept to address legal or regulatory requirements.
As a new Index Engines customer, RenewData has also joined the Index Engines Litigation Ready™ Partner Program to extend the offline tape e-discovery benefits of the Index Engines Enterprise Discovery Platform to its customers. With the addition of RenewData to the Index Engines network of Litigation Ready Partners, Index Engines now has the capacity to help customers perform information discovery on up to 14,000 backup tapes a month.
