CSC To Complete For IT Services Task Orders $50 Billion GSA Contract

The total ceiling value of the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, which has a five-year base period and a five-year option, for all 29 firms is $50 billion. CSC estimates the total potential value of its portion of the contract to be approximately $900 million.

Under the terms of the contract, CSC will compete for task orders to provide federal government agencies with technology services such as computer design, software engineering and systems integration. Work may be performed at GSA headquarters and/or field offices throughout the world, as specified with each task order, to provide a variety of IT solutions and support services, including new and emerging technologies.

Alliant is a governmentwide acquisition contract that provides federal agencies with a centralized source to acquire integrated IT solutions worldwide. It will provide services covering the scope of the existing GSA Millennia and Applications N’ Support for Widely-diverse End-user Requirements (ANSWER), which expire in 2008 and 2009.
