The greatest Pokémon adventure has begun! You’ll meet more than 100 new Pokémon as you travel through Sinnoh in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl for Nintendo DS. Join us as we chronicle a young boy’s quest to become a great Pokémon Trainer, the tools of his new trade and the people he comes across that want to stand in his way.
Although this journal is not a straight walkthrough, it does highlight the colourful characters you'll meet and the places you'll visit when you play the game.
Before I started my journey to fill up that Pokédex, I stopped at the Sandgem Town’s Pokémon Centre. You’ll find one in most towns. This is where you go when your Pokémon is tired. The people at the Pokémon Centre refresh your Pokémon to full strength – and they do it for free!
After they recharged my Firestar, I walked upstairs and found a place in the Pokémon Centre that I didn’t know even existed – a place where Trainers could communicate with Nintendo DSes wirelessly! On this cool floor, I could enter the Pokémon Communications Club Colosseum or the Pokémon Wireless Club Union Room.
The Club Colosseum seems like a good place to have some seriously fun battles. When you wirelessly connect to a nearby Trainer, you can go into the Colosseum and choose from lots of different battle types. There is Single Battle where each of you brings just one Pokémon into the room to battle. Then there’s a two-on-two Double Battle, and you can also try a Mix Battle. -Nintendo
