Art Fashion Show At Cleveland Museum

The Textile Art Alliance (TAA) of the Cleveland Museum of Art will be hosting its Fourth Annual Wearable Art Fashion Show & Boutique on Sunday, October 21, 2007 at LaCentre. The Wearable Art Fashion Show & Boutique will feature artists from the region who specialize in creating one-of-a-kind garments, coats, jackets, hats, jewelry, and other imaginative accessories using fiber art techniques.

All items in the Wearable Art Fashion Show will be available for sale following the event. In addition, there will be a boutique area with wearable art pieces for sale from participating Wearable Art Fashion Show artists and other regional artists before and after the show.

Preview shopping at boutique tables will open at 11 am, for patrons of the runway fashion show and luncheon. The fashion show and lunch will begin at 1 pm. Boutique and runway fashions will be for sale to the public from 2:30 pm until 5 pm.

See the newest, freshest styles in the area. Meet the artists, own an exclusive piece, or purchase a very special holiday gift. This is a unique show in the fact that the fashions on display are described in detail and the creation process behind the piece is explained. More than 50 artists are participating in the event and 60 ensembles will be on the runway showcasing the talents of regional artists.-- www.clevelandart.org
