In The Middle Of The Moment With The Hebrides Ensemble

In a new collaboration with one of Scotland's most celebrated chamber music groups, The Hebrides Ensemble, two of our dancers will join the Ensemble on stage to perform a stunning new duet, In the Middle of the Moment, as part of their concerts.

The Ensemble will perform a diverse programme of beautiful classical pieces, including Signs, Games & Messages byGyörgy Kurtág, Concert Suite of The Soldiers Tale by Igor Stravinsky, as well as In the Middle of the Moment.

Set to Arvo Pärt's Pari Intervallo and created by top choreographers Johan Greben and Uri Ivgi during the summer, In the Middle of the Moment plays out the difficulties of a relationship in a confined space..

Real-life husband and wife James MacGillivray and Victoria Roberts will dance the piece at performances in Glasgow, Fortrose and Banchory, while dancers Michal Zahora and Ruth Janssen will perform the duet in Inchbare, Edinburgh and Dundee.
