Sinnoh Stories, part 4

The greatest Pokémon adventure has begun! You’ll meet more than 100 new Pokémon as you travel through Sinnoh in Pokémon Diamond and Pokémon Pearl for Nintendo DS. Join us as we chronicle a young boy’s quest to become a great Pokémon Trainer, the tools of his new trade and the people he comes across that want to stand in his way.

Although this journal is not a straight walkthrough, it does highlight the colourful characters you'll meet and the places you'll visit when you play the game. Click here to read the previous journal entry.

I made my way to Jubilife City, battling some Trainers and their Pokémon along the way. Firestar didn’t lose a single battle and blazed through each opponent – sometimes with just one attack!

I can’t say I feel sorry for beating all those Trainers. Pokémon battling is meant to be fun, although I’m starting to take it quite seriously. At the end of the day, Pokémon battling is more of a way to meet new people and make friends. It’s not all about showing people how much better your Pokémon are compared to theirs (although it is nice to have a team of Pokémon that can draw a crowd!)

One time for a school trip I visited Jubilife City. My school stopped by the Pokémon Trainer’s School here, which was cool, but I really wanted to visit the Jubilife TV station. I figured now was a good time to do that.

As I was walking toward the TV station, this man stopped me on the street. “You call yourself a Pokémon Trainer?” he said. “And yet you have no Pokétch?” Pokétch? Never heard of it. -Nintendo
